If you notice any suspicious activity in any health facility (Hospitals, Clinics, Health centers, medical laboratories, Pharmacies, Health Post, etc) such as false claims, overbilling, forged documents, or misuse of RSSB medical funds, speaking up can create real change. Your report helps protect patients, contributors, and the integrity of our healthcare system.
And importantly, if your information leads to the recovery of funds or prevents financial loss, you may be eligible for a reward ranging from 50,000 RWF to 20,000,000 RWF.
Frequently Asked Questions
Whistle-blowers having disclosed material information leading to a successful recovery of funds shall be rewarded, as follow:

10% of the total interests and/or penalties charged to offender no lesser than fifty thousand Rwandan francs (50,000 RwF) and not exceeding twenty million Rwandan francs (20,000,000 RwF) for each successful resolution of whistleblowing case; or

10% of the cost which would have been incurred no lesser than fifty thousand Rwandan francs (50,000 RwF) and not exceeding twenty million Rwandan francs (20,000,000 RwF) for each successful resolution of whistleblowing case.

Payout of rewards above 10,000,000 RwF are subject the RSSB General Management approval.
Yes. RSSB strictly protects the confidentiality of all whistleblowers. Your identity is only accessible to authorized Anti-Fraud Unit staff and will never be disclosed without your consent. RSSB Whistleblower policy of 2022 also guarantees anonymity and prohibits the disclosure of a whistleblower’s identity. RSSB is legally required to safeguard your confidentiality.
No. You do not need to provide evidence to report. If you have reasonable suspicion of fraud, corruption, misconduct, or any irregularity, you are encouraged to report it. Evidence is helpful but not mandatory investigators will work to verify the information you submit.
Yes. If you report anonymously, the system generates a unique tracking code. You can use this code to:

- Provide additional information all without disclosing your identity.
